Collection: Rörstrand ceramics
As early as 1726, Rörstrand was founded in Stockholm and since then has manufactured objects in porcelain and ceramics. At the end of the 19th century, the artist Alf Wallander came there as artistic director. In the 1930s the move was to Lidköping and during the 1930s and 40s a number of artists came to Rörstrand. Among others, Gunnar Nylund, Carl-Harry Stålhane, Gertrud Lönegren, Ilse Claesson, Isac Grünewald and Harald Salomon came there. Later came Inger Persson, Olle Alberius, Sylvia Leuchovius and Hertha Bengtsson. The artistic stoneware of above all Nylund and Stålhane achieved international success and on our website and in our store there is a lot to look at.
